Making the move to another country is scary, but so is staying in the US. There are a lot of resources out there to help those trying to make a move, but there are also enough scams and bad info out there to make sorting it out difficult. Our experience was helped by my personal international journeys and experience in the US Navy, and studying in Japan, but even still it took many hours to pull together the various sources available and come to working decisions. As a software engineer, and a serial entrepreneur I thought it might be valuable to payback some of those resources by sharing our experience, as well as the sources we found most helpful in a single place, so I got GoDutch.us - and plan to develop it into a first stop and deep resource as well as a reference hub for all the great resources that already exist.
